Hza Playboy Boon known affectionately as Boon is a puppy in a horse body! Boon has a big personality with a gentle soul and willingness to please. He loves affection and people. Boon is easy to catch, load, tie, lead, saddle, bridle and LOVE! Boon has a beautiful collected lope, ground covering trot, and big walk out. Boon will do all the party tricks too! He likes to play with the tarp, ball, flag and much more! Boon will ride out alone or in a group out on the trails and is consistent and content to do whatever is asked of him! Boon is the all around package and he’s just the right type of ranch horse too. He’s been used to gather, brand, strip bulls, doctor cattle outside and has even done a bit of arena roping too! Boon has lots of rate, grit and determination to get any job done. Boon crosses creeks, brush, logs, bridges, and just about anything else you find! Boon is up to date on vaccinations, dental, chiropractic care, and shoeing.

Boon has the personality, looks, and training to do it all! But let’s talk about his breeding! Boon is a son of Heza Freckles Boon who has $30K in lifetime earnings in the cutting pen. From there he is a grandson of the famous Freckles Playboy, a top 10 leading maternal sire for for both cutting and working horses. He’s of course also the sire of progeny that have earned almost $24.5 million in the NCHA. Boon’s bottom side is nothing to scoff at with Dual Reward as his grandfather whose life time earnings were $197,985. Dual Pep the father of Dual Reward and great grand father of Boon has LTE of $313,192. Finally a horse that needs no introduction is Doc’s Hickory as Boons great grandfather.
