DD Mr. Raider Bars affectionately known as Jackson, is the big beautiful Barbie gelding that dreams are made of! Not to mention he is a deep product of Pitzer Ranch breeding. Going back to many exceptional cow horses such as: Mr. Baron Red, Joe Jack Red, Bucks N Moore, and Watch Tyrees Dude. Jackson is a true specimen of ranch horse breeding and he puts all that breeding to use! Jackson is absolutely gentle and broke for just about any level of rider. He is the same horse no matter how much or how little you ride him. He has been used in all phases of ranch work including branding calves, penning back cattle at the sale barn, checking pastures, and doctoring. He has a smooth one handed neck rein and rides nicely and easily off your seat and leg. Jackson is easy going and straightforward. He has a nice collected short lope, smooth trot and big walk out. He lopes nice circles on either lead and has a big stop. Jackson is fearless over logs, bogs, brush, water, bushes or slippery hillsides. Jackson has a born natural instinct with cattle and could probably do the ranch work completely on his own! Jackson can move himself over to open a gate in any type of situation and makes it easy on his rider. Jackson is also keen to complete a party trick and will pack a flag, pull the sled, push the ball, play with the tarp or leaf blower and is great with any herd of dogs. Jackson is up to date on dental, hoof care, chiropractic, and vaccines. Jackson will sell with our optional two day clinic at our home facility in Baxter Springs, Kansas in addition to a comprehensive manual about his cues, health care, and habits.
